trillaz: there's a silverlight plugin for OS X (intel only)
Compound: Don't take this the wrong way, but your computers are prettty old. Apple switched to Intel like 8 years. You may want to consider upgrading.
i did some research and one website acknowledges that windows provides superior buffering of videos compared to that of apple computers.
since i own both type computers, i have experienced this.
even newer and, might i add, very expensive apple computers buffer videos poorly, so i have read.

holy crap. what model iMac do you have and what version of OS X is it running? If it's an Intel iMacit should run Chrome no problem.

Adobe does develop flash but it's not even installed on OS X out of the box. Apple doesn't really want it on your Mac :) Plus Apple doesn't really optimize its software for it. If it buffers weird in Safari, try Firefox or Chrome.
I'm sure the spat Apple had with Adobe a while ago explains why Adobe might not really care too much about it either.
i wanted to make hotel reservations at a place my wife and i like to use, but my wife told me she already made reservations.
she said the wts has the list on jwdotorg.. anyone else know about the recommended lodging list being online?
i couldn't find it.
I'm not a fan of sites like hotwire or priceline. For the super cheap prices, you have to roll the dice on what hotel you get. I would rather pay a few extra bucks and know what I'm getting. For giggles, I went to hotels.com and looked up the hotel for the same days. The JW rate was 50 bucks less per night.
It's definitely a YMMV thing. For the last assembly, we booked online through hotels.com and the room was 5 bucks more than the WT rate.

the short answer is that flash is crap so apple doesn't give a damn about it. If the video uses flash, it might be be weird. if it's using something like webm or h.264 like every sane website, you won't have issues.

yup. we did our reservation this week. the convention letter sent to the congregations have the URL and login credentials for the congregation to get the right dates and hotels. Some of the hotels even have a link so you can do the reservations all online. it was pretty easy actually. i'm....impressed?
we and our unbaptised children have now been cut off by our last jw family members.
cowardly email at the bottom and my response just below.
sorry it's rambling and probably not the best thing to send, but we are upset and angry.
TL;DR
i'm just making a query into the red coloured book that had peoples faces stamped into the hard front cover.
the "you can live forever in paradise on earth" book.
this is so long ago so please forgive me if i get few things wrong.
i love these weirdos that make threads about subliminal images.
anyone read the "fat girl's guide to life"?
i am reading it right now and finding it pretty interesting.
it makes me think outside the box a little bit about how much money is spent on products for people to lose weight, and how much money saturates the market and influences so much of the media.. the author's attitude is one i try to have-- exercise, be balanced in eating habits, drink water, take nutrition supplements, and don't obsess over dieting & what the scale says or about other people's judgements toward my weight.. right now, i already know why i am overweight-- i am eating to deal with my bipolar issues.
the whole 'fat acceptance' thing is dumb. guess what? if you're fat it's most likely because you eat garbage and don't exercise. Being overweight leads to tons of health conditions. If it takes being shamed into losing weight, well, then that's what it takes.

take a good look.
provides support for my theory that the society wants to 'hide out' in an area dominated by jewish enclaves - who quietly are a publically unchallenged 'law unto themselves' as they dominate or largely control wide swaths of ny territory right down to local pta elections.. this is not politically correct stuff, folks but power brokers in ny state gov.
metatron, you're seriously mentally ill. please get yourself checked out.
